We protect your information with industry-standard security measures, including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and quarterly security audits. Case documents are stored in access-controlled repositories with audit logging. We have never experienced a data breach.
Because citizenship by descent cases are inherently international, your information may be processed in the country whose citizenship you are seeking, in the country where you currently reside, and in the United States. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for lawful international transfers.
Ancestra does not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 16, please contact us at privacy@ancestra.legal and we will delete it immediately.
