About Vega & Asociados
Vega & Asociados is a Madrid-based citizenship firm founded in 2015 by Carmen Vega, admitted to the Madrid Bar. The firm handles Spanish citizenship under the 2022 Ley de Memoria Democrática (for descendants of Civil War and Franco-era exiles) and Latin American citizenship by descent cases.
We have filed over 189 citizenship cases across Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Colombia. Our team includes attorneys admitted in Spain and Mexico, plus a network of co-counsel in Buenos Aires, Santiago, and Montevideo.
We are particularly active in the Spanish Memory Law window, which is expected to close in late 2025 or early 2026. We have filed over 60 Memory Law applications since the law came into force in December 2022.
