In depth
A consultation is the initial meeting between a prospective client and Ancestra's counsel. It is typically 90 minutes long, conducted in person or by video, and is free of charge.
During the consultation, Ancestra's counsel: (1) reviews the information from the intake form, (2) asks follow-up questions about the ancestry and any existing documents, (3) provides a preliminary assessment of eligibility, (4) explains the CBD process for the relevant country, and (5) answers the client's questions.
After the consultation, Ancestra produces a written eligibility assessment within 48 hours, citing the specific statute and quoting a fixed fee. The consultation is conducted under strict confidentiality, so the client can speak candidly.
