In depth
A family tree (also called a pedigree chart or lineage chart) is a diagram showing family relationships across generations. It is the visual representation of the citizenship chain in CBD cases.
For CBD cases, the family tree shows: (1) the applicant, (2) each ancestor in the direct line back to the anchor ancestor, (3) siblings and collateral relatives (who may also be eligible), and (4) the documentary evidence for each relationship.
Our network of genealogists produce detailed family tree reports for every CBD case, including: the tree diagram, source citations for each relationship, and a written narrative explaining the citizenship chain.
